Hosting your first home group?

  1. Welcome everyone. Start with a simple question about the week. Never force anyone to share.
  2. Read the Bible aloud. Let people use their preferred translation; ask what they notice.
  3. Make space for questions. It's fine to say you don't know and explore together next time.
  4. Finish with prayer. Ask permission before sharing personal prayer requests beyond the group.

Tip: a group works best when people feel safe, listened to and free to disagree respectfully.
